Failed to Uninstall/Reinstall Encore Suite

Symptom

This incident usually occurs when you have attempted to uninstall/install Encore Suite (or one of the supplementary products) and failed due to protection blocking by virus protection program.  As a result, you need to clear the menus in your system then uninstall/install the program.

1.    Unable to uninstall Encore Suite, EasyCombineMail, EasyExportMail, EasyLinkMail or EasyMailTrimmer.

2.    Unable to reinstall Encore Suite, EasyCombineMail, EasyExportMail, EasyLinkMail or EasyMailTrimmer. 

Instructions

In general, you can select all selections in this program and it will remove all traces of Encore Suite and their associated products.

  1. Exit Outlook.

  2. Click and download this file http://www.encoresuite.com/support/technical/uninstall_failed_source_missing.exe.

  3. Check the checkbox next to the product name to be removed.  The tool will check the product which was installed.

  4. Check the checkbox next to the selection below to be removed:

  1. Click the Remove button will clear the menu.

  2. You should be able to reinstall again.
